5 Things You Can Do To Help Save The Planet
Today I would like to share with you 5 Things You Can Do To Help Save The Planet. According to Nasa, global climate change has already had observable effects on the environment. Glaciers have shrunk, ice on rivers and lakes is breaking up earlier, plant and animal ranges have shifted and trees are flowering sooner. Happy New Year dear reader! 🙂 Today I would like to share my Feel Good Country Music Playlist to start off the year on the right foot. If you haven’t done so yet, please put on your shoes and go for a walk. There is nothing that can clear the mind as much as fresh air and exercise. If you like to listen to music (country music that is) while walking then I have the perfect playlist for you. I know that there is always this big debate about whether ‘modern’ country music is real country music or not. However, I think that we should lay this debate to rest…

Music and Nostalgia
We all love listening to music on our way to work, at the gym, and while cleaning up the house, but why do songs by Lorde, Lana Del Rey & Tame Impala make us feel nostalgic? Today I would like to write about the connection between Music and Nostalgia. There are however songs that make us feel a certain way. Songs that you can’t listen to at the gym, as you want to fully appreciate the song and the feeling that comes with it. Before I start, let’s see what the definition of nostalgia is: a feeling of pleasure and also slight sadness when you think about things that happened in the past. nostalgia[ no-stal-juh, -jee-uh, nuh– ] A wistful desire…

Lactose-Free Cheesecake
If you – like me – enjoy a cheesecake, but can’t digest lactose then this recipe is for you. Today I would like to share my Lactose-Free Cheesecake recipe that tastes just as good as the original. I know that you could simply take lactase enzyme tablets in order to be able to digest lactose better, but I believe that prevention is better than the cure. You could also adapt the recipe to be vegan, by using plant based cream cheese as well as an egg substitute. Please bear in mind that you shouldn’t avoid lactose completely, without speaking to your doctor first. Ingredients 300g dark chocolate or plain digestives…
